I honestly didn’t know there are some “Sailor Moon” fans out there that aren’t happy with the original uncut version airing on Hulu or what we’re getting with the reboot in a few weeks.  And I can understand their frustration.  I’m currently going through this with the live-action “Jem and the Holograms” movie, because believe me, there are quite a few fans in that particular fandom that aren’t happy with how the live-action movie is going down and how the producers/director went about actually making the movie. If you’re searching the “Sailor Moon Crystal” or “Sailor Moon” tag here on Tumblr and don’t know what I’m talking about….basically, the producers/director for the “Jem” movie put out a huge casting call on the Internet for fans to be involved and pretty much duped us all, and one of the main creators of “Jem” wasn’t even asked to be involved in the film.

Having got that out of the way, comparing and contrasting this to “Sailor Moon” being re-aired on Hulu and getting rebooted….

At least with “Sailor Moon Crystal,” Naoko Takeuchi has been VERY involved in this reboot.  At least we American “Sailor Moon” fans are finally getting a legit uncut version of “Sailor Moon” after years (practically a decade) of waiting and going to extremes to see these episodes.

With the reboot, I’m expecting that it’s going to be closer to how the story plays out in the original manga, especially if Naoko Takeuchi had more involvement in this. However, I’m not going to argue against the people who are finding all sorts of faults with this.  I understand where you’re coming from, and we can just agree to disagree.  If you don’t like how it looks, then don’t watch it.  Simple as that.

I think this sums up the Hyper Battle DVD in a nutshell. XD

One time, I ate a hamburger and then like an hour later I started sneezing, but I don’t think it had anything to do with the hamburger.
